1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and JupiGlow LLC (“we”, “us”), the maker of Huntsman, on the iPhone and on the web. By using Huntsman you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to our Risk disclosure. If you don’t agree, don’t use Huntsman. Every document you agree to, with its version and date, is listed on the Your agreements page.
2. What Huntsman is, and isn’t
- Huntsman is software. It lets you run AI trading agents. An agent is a set of trading rules you choose from the library or set yourself. Until the SEC grants our registration, agents run in a practice account with simulated money (sections 4 and 6). Huntsman also shows market information and your linked brokerage account.
- What you can trade. Huntsman works with stocks, ETFs and crypto. Agents do not trade options today.
- Huntsman is not your broker. Brokerage services are provided by the broker or crypto exchange that holds your account (your “Broker”). Brokers are members of FINRA and SIPC; crypto held at an exchange is generally not protected by SIPC. Your Broker opens and holds your account and holds your money and securities. Your Broker places and carries out your trades. Your agreements with your Broker (including its customer agreement) govern your brokerage account. These terms don’t change them.
- Huntsman is not made by your Broker. JupiGlow LLC is independent of every broker Huntsman links to.
- Where we stand with regulators. JupiGlow LLC, doing business as Huntsman, is not a broker-dealer. It has applied to register with the SEC as an investment adviser. Until the SEC grants it, agents run only in your practice account. Once registered, our advice comes only through the app, as agents, under the Client Advisory Agreement; our Form CRS and brochure describe it.
3. Who can use Huntsman
You must be at least 18 and live in the United States. You need an email address to sign in. Agents in your practice account need no brokerage account. To link a brokerage account, it must be in your own name at a broker Huntsman supports, and your Broker must allow the trading you do. You may connect only your own account.
4. Agents in your practice account
- What an agent is. An agent is a set of written trading rules: what to hold, when to buy and sell, how much, and the limits that pause it. You pick one from the library, change one, or write your own with the AI’s help (section 5). You choose each agent. Before your first agent trades real money, the app shows which agents fit your profile, and warns you before you pick one that doesn’t.
- A fixed, saved version. Each time you save an agent, Huntsman checks the rules and keeps them as a saved version that never changes. An agent runs exactly the saved version you started. Changing a rule makes a new version, and the new version runs only after you start it.
- Your practice account. You can open one practice account, once, with $100,000 of simulated money. You choose how much of it each agent gets. It isn’t real money, can’t be withdrawn and has no cash value.
- How a practice agent trades. On its schedule, Huntsman applies the agent’s rules to market prices and records simulated fills, at the quoted ask to buy and the bid to sell, in whole shares. A practice agent places no real orders at any broker, even if you have linked one.
- Results are hypothetical. Practice fills don’t include real market impact, queue position, partial fills, every fee or every broker rule, so real trading would have had different results. Results are shown before fees, taxes and your plan’s price. A test run of a saved version on past or generated prices is hypothetical too, and is labelled as such.
- When an agent pauses or skips. An agent can skip a run, or pause, when prices are missing, old or inconsistent, when one of its limits is reached, or when something fails. You can pause, resume or stop any agent, and sell an agent’s holdings back to practice cash.
- What we keep. We keep a record of every saved version, every run, every simulated fill and every change you make, so each result can be traced to the version that made it (see the Privacy Policy).
5. The AI
- It helps you write an agent’s rules. You describe what you want in your own words. The AI turns that into one of the rule types Huntsman supports and asks about anything missing. Huntsman checks the result, and you review it before you save it. The AI never decides a trade outside them: an agent trades only by its saved rules.
- Huntsman’s AI also explains market data, your agents and your own positions in plain words. It does not make trading decisions; our advice comes only as agents. It can be wrong. It may misunderstand what you meant or misstate a price, a number or a fact, so check before you rely on anything it says.
- The AI can’t place, change or cancel orders.
- The AI’s use of your account information is optional. What you type to the AI goes to OpenRouter, which runs AI made by OpenAI and Google. Your account information goes with your questions only after you allow it (see the Privacy Policy). You can turn the AI off in Settings.
6. Real money and automatic mode
- Practice until registration. Huntsman has applied to register with the SEC as an investment adviser. Until the SEC grants it, no agent trades real money; every agent runs in your practice account. Which plan lets you run how many real-money agents, and with how much money, is shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Two ways to use real money, after registration. In approve-each-trade mode, the agent proposes each trade and nothing is sent to your Broker until you approve it. In automatic mode, the agent trades in your account without asking before each trade, only inside its rules and your limits. Both need the Client Advisory Agreement; automatic mode also needs the Discretionary Trading Authorization.
- The current drafts of both documents are on our website, each marked as applying only once the SEC grants our registration. They don’t apply to you until you accept them in the app.
- Under that authorization, an agent could trade only in the account you connect, in the saved version you approved, with the money and limits you set. It could never withdraw or move your money.
7. Linking your brokerage account
- Linking. Huntsman connects to your Broker through SnapTrade, a service that connects apps to brokers. Today a link reads your account and places no orders; after the SEC grants our registration, agents can trade through it at the brokers listed on our Support page. You sign in on a page from SnapTrade or your Broker and approve the access Huntsman asks for. We never see your brokerage password.
- What you authorize. You authorize us to:
- read your account;
- send to your Broker the orders you approve in the app;
- send the exits you set on a position. Where your Broker accepts it, one exit rests at your Broker as an order: the stop-loss if you set one, otherwise the take-profit. Where your Broker takes only day orders, we send it again each trading day until it fills or you cancel it. When you set both, the take-profit is sent when its price is reached while the app is open;
- cancel orders when you ask, when an exit you set needs room to sell, and your open buy orders when you disconnect or delete your account.
- What we won’t do. We won’t place any other order without your instruction. No agent places an order at your Broker without your approval of that trade, or, in automatic mode after registration, outside the Discretionary Trading Authorization you gave.
- Ending access. You can end our access at any time by disconnecting in Settings. Disconnecting cancels your open buy orders. Your other orders stay at your Broker, and an exit we were sending again each day isn’t sent while you’re disconnected. Check your open orders at your Broker.
8. Orders
This section is about real orders, which you approve. Agents in your practice account send none.
- An order is placed only when your Broker accepts it. Your Broker may reject, delay or cancel orders under its rules, for example when your account can’t support the order or the market is closed.
- Prices move. A limit order may not fill, and a market order may fill at a different price than you saw.
- Huntsman limits what it sends. It only sends orders for stocks, ETFs and the crypto Huntsman supports, and it only sells what you hold. It may refuse an order that doesn’t fit these limits.
- If the app or our servers are unavailable, or your connection drops, an order may not reach your Broker, or we may not be able to tell whether it did. Always check your orders and positions at your Broker. Your Broker’s records are the official record of your account.
- You are responsible for every order you approve and every exit you set, and for checking that they did what you meant.
9. Trading is risky
Any trade can lose money. Stocks, funds (ETFs) and crypto can fall fast, and you can lose some or all of what you put in. Agents do not trade options today.
- Read the Risk disclosure before you trade.
10. Market data, results and estimates
- Prices, charts, news and other data come from third parties. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. A practice agent’s results depend on them.
- Practice results, test runs and any number about an agent’s past are hypothetical: they aren’t real trading and aren’t a promise. They are shown before fees, and they don’t include Huntsman’s plan price, taxes or your Broker’s costs. Past results don’t guarantee future results.
- Ranges, estimates and charts of possible outcomes are math on today’s prices. They’re hypothetical: they aren’t real results and aren’t a promise.
11. Plans and payments
- Agents. Huntsman has three monthly plans: Starter is $29.99 a month, Pro is $59.99 a month and Max is $99.99 a month; each adds more agents, test runs and AI use, as the app shows before you subscribe. New subscribers pay less for their first month, once: Starter $14.99, Pro $24.99 and Max $39.99. Each plan then renews at its monthly price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the first month is over.
- Plans are auto-renewing monthly subscriptions sold through Apple’s in-app purchase. Apple charges your Apple account when you subscribe, and each month after that until you cancel.
- A plan renews each month until you cancel in your iPhone’s Settings › your name › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before it renews. Fees already paid are not refunded; your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. Apple may grant refunds under its own policy at reportaproblem.apple.com; Huntsman doesn’t control those decisions. If a plan ends, the features it adds stop. Live agents that no longer fit your plan are paused after 7 days; Huntsman never sells your positions for you.
- Plans don’t change how your orders are handled. No plan is ever needed to pause or stop an agent, sell a position, cancel an order, read a disclosure, contact support, disconnect your brokerage account or delete your Huntsman account.
- Huntsman charges no trading fees. Your Broker’s and regulators’ fees, if any, are your Broker’s to show and charge.
- We may change plan prices or features. A price change won’t apply to you before your next renewal, and you’ll be told first as Apple requires.
12. Your account with us
- You sign in with a one-time code we email you. Keep your email account and your phone secure. You can lock the app with Face ID.
- You can delete your Huntsman account in Settings at any time, or ask us by email. That stops your agents and doesn’t close your brokerage account. Some records stay after deletion, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- We may suspend or end your access for any of these:
- misuse;
- a risk to you, other users or the service;
- if your Broker, SnapTrade or ConnectTrade ends our access;
- if the law requires it.
13. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- misuse the service;
- try to get around its limits;
- reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows;
- use it for anyone else’s account;
- use automated tools to access it;
- use it to break the law or market rules (for example manipulation).
14. Our content
We own the app, its design and its content, including the agents in its library. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, and Huntsman on the web, under these terms and Apple’s Usage Rules. The rules you write are yours; you let us store, check and run them to provide Huntsman to you.
15. Third-party services
Huntsman relies on your Broker, SnapTrade, ConnectTrade, Apple, Supabase (sign-in), Resend (sign-in emails), our market data company, finlight (news search for the AI chat), OpenRouter and the AI companies it uses, and Amazon Web Services (Lightsail), which hosts our servers. We aren’t responsible for their services. Their terms apply to your use of them.
16. Disclaimers
Huntsman is provided “as is” and “as available”: you get it the way it is, when it is working. As far as the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond what these terms say, whether written down or assumed by law (the legal word is warranties). That includes any promise that Huntsman is good enough to sell (merchantability), that it suits what you want to use it for (fitness for a particular purpose), that it is accurate, or that it doesn’t break anyone else’s rights (non-infringement). We don’t promise it will always work, be free of mistakes or be on time, or that any agent will make money.
17. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or trading losses, arising from your use of Huntsman. This includes a delayed, failed, rejected or mistaken order, an agent that skipped, paused or behaved differently than you expected, and data that was wrong or late.
- Our total liability is no more than the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100.
- Nothing in these terms waives a right you have under federal or state securities laws, or any other right the law doesn’t let you give up.
18. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against JupiGlow LLC because you misused Huntsman or broke these terms, you’ll pay for our defense against it and for anything we have to pay because of it. (The legal words for this are defending and indemnifying us.)
19. Disputes
- Governing law: the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
- Courts: the state and federal courts in Montgomery County, Alabama. You and we agree to their jurisdiction.
- Disputes about your brokerage account go under your agreements with your Broker, not these terms.
20. Apple
These terms are between you and JupiGlow LLC, not Apple.
- Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its content, and has no duty to provide maintenance or support.
- If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any), and Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple isn’t responsible for claims about the app (product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property). We are, to the extent these terms say.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
- You confirm you aren’t in a country under a US embargo and aren’t on a US government list of prohibited parties.
21. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect, and where the change needs your agreement we’ll ask for it again. Using Huntsman after that means you accept the new terms.
