Who does what, and the risks.

Huntsman is the app. Your broker holds your account. Until the SEC grants our registration, agents trade only in your practice account. Any trade can lose money.

Who does what

  • Huntsman is an iPhone app and a website made by JupiGlow LLC, doing business as Huntsman. JupiGlow LLC is not a broker-dealer. It has applied to register with the SEC as an investment adviser.
  • Your brokerage account is at your broker, a registered broker-dealer. Your broker opens and holds your account, holds your money and securities and carries out your orders. Your broker’s own disclosures and privacy notice cover that account.
  • Huntsman is not made by your broker. You link your own brokerage account by signing in on your broker’s page or a connection service’s page. Huntsman never sees your brokerage password. See the supported brokerages.
  • Check the background of your broker on FINRA’s BrokerCheck.

Agents in your practice account

  • An agent is a set of written trading rules, kept as a saved version that never changes. It runs in a practice account with simulated money and places no real orders.
  • Practice and test results are hypothetical. They don’t include real market impact, every fee or your broker’s rules, and past results don’t guarantee future results. Read the Risk disclosure.
  • Until the SEC grants our registration, every agent runs in your practice account only. After that, an agent can trade real money in your linked account in one of two ways: you approve each trade, or it trades automatically inside its rules and your limits once you accept the Discretionary Trading Authorization. The documents that will apply then are listed on Your agreements.

Any trade can lose money

  • Stocks, funds (ETFs) and crypto can fall, sometimes fast. You can lose some or all of the money you put into a trade.
  • Crypto trades around the clock and its prices can move far more than stocks in a day.
  • Agents do not trade options today. If they ever do, these disclosures will add the risks of options first.

How the AI works, and its limits

  • The AI helps you write an agent’s rules from your own words, and explains market data, your agents and your own positions in plain words. It runs on large language models from OpenAI and Google, reached through OpenRouter.
  • It explains; it doesn’t recommend. It never tells you what to buy, sell or hold, and it can’t place, change or cancel orders. An agent trades only by the rules you saved. Text the AI writes is information, not investment advice.
  • It can be wrong. It may misunderstand what you meant, or misstate a price, a number or a fact. Check before you rely on anything it says.
  • This is optional: your account details go to the AI provider with your questions only after you tap Allow. You can turn the AI off in Settings. See the Privacy Policy.

How results and estimates are worked out

  • Practice results come from simulated fills at the quoted price at that moment, in whole shares, with simulated money. No real order is sent.
  • Test runs apply a saved version of an agent’s rules to recorded or generated prices. They are worked out with hindsight, and each is labelled as a practice or test result.
  • All of these are hypothetical and shown before fees, taxes and your plan’s price. They use the prices at that moment, and they are not a guarantee of results. Past results don’t guarantee future results.

Plans and fees

  • Huntsman charges no trading fees. Fees from your broker or regulators, if any, are your broker’s to show and charge.
  • Huntsman has three monthly plans: Starter, Pro and Max. Plans are sold through Apple. The plans and prices are in the Terms. Plans never change how your orders are handled.
